Raj & DK are the producers of this movie and popular hero Nani has come in as a co-producer at a later stage. Dil Raju is distributing the film all over the state. Let us check out this movie now... Story : Raju (Sundeep Kishan), Vicky (Varun Sandesh), Harish (Naveen) and Bannu (Rakesh) are good friends. They have their own issues in life and they all need money badly. Raju is a wannabe film hero. Vicky is deep in debt and he needs money to ward off recovery agents. Harish and Bannu need money in order to settle down with the women they love. To get rid of all these issues, they decide to rob a bank. They watch a lot of heist dramas, procure fake weapons and finally muster the courage to storm ‘National Bank’ in Manikonda area. The plan seems to work initially, but like all ‘well laid’ plans, it does not account for unexpected twists. Raju, Vicky and his friends are forced to deal with cops and unexpected guests. Whathappens in the end? Will they succeed in escaping with the money? That is what ‘D for Dopidi’ is all about. Technical Aspects : Cinematography is very average. Editing could have been much better. Mahesh Shankar’s music is just about ok. Dialogues are very average and they fail to make a strong impression on viewers. Sriraj Kalla’s direction is not up to the mark. It is quite tough to handle a subject like this and the director’s lack of experience shows. Production values are ok...

The small budget romantic entertainer ‘Uyyala Jampala’ is gearing up for a release tomorrow. We have been to a pre-release screening of the movie, so we are bringing out the review for you now. Avika Gor, who essayed the role of Anandi in the serial ‘Chinnari Pellikoothuru’, is the heroine in this movie and Raj Tharun will be seen as the male lead. Virinchi Varma has directed this romantic drama.

Story :

The story of this film revolves around Suri (Raj Tharun) and Uma Devi (Avika Gor), who happen to be cousins (Bava & Maradhalu). They grow up together and have a love hate relationship of sorts. Suri takes pleasure in playing practical jokes on Uma Devi while the young lady has her own ways of taking revenge.

Uma Devi’s family is relatively well off while Suri works hard to support his mother (Anita Chowdary). Uma Devi falls in love with a crook named Pardhu and she is trapped by the sweet talking liar. Just as her life is about to take a disastrous turn, she is rescued by Suri.

After this incident, Uma and Suri discover that they admire each other deeply. However, family issues stand in their way and a marriage alliance is arranged for Uma Devi. What will Suri do? Will he muster the courage to declare his love for Uma Devi?

That forms the story of this movie.

Technical Aspects :

Cinematography is a big asset for the movie. The village locales have been shot well. Sunny’s background score is good. Editing is neat, but some scenes could have been trimmed off in the first half.

Virinchi Varma’s direction is pretty good for a first timer. Dialogues have good depth...

Kajal Agarwal Reaction on Sister Nisha Marriage

Telugu actress Kajal Aggarwal, who has gone busy with the filming for her Tamil projects, says that the most emotional day of her life will be when her younger sister Nisha Agarwal ties the knot. Nisha, who is also a popular face in Telugu film industry, will marry Mumbai-based businessman Karan Valecha December 28. Kajal Aggarwal recently took to her Facebook account to share the news about Nisha Aggarwal's wedding. The actress posted, "My beloved little sister has grown up to choose a partner for herself. She is getting married on December 28 in Bombay. This is going to be the biggest and most emotional day for me and my family."
 

Having wrapped up all her pending works one week in advance, Kajal Aggarwal is now all excited about Nisha's marriage. Director Nesan told IANS, "She had told me about her sister's wedding and that she should be with her a few weeks in advance. We, therefore, completed her portion quickly and ensured she has ample time to spend with her family." Post wedding, Nisha Aggarwal, who is awaiting the release of her Telugu romantic-action DK Bose, is likely to continue with her acting career. Earlier the actress had said, "I will most likely continue working. I haven't thought about leaving the industry yet and moreover Karan is fine with me doing what I have been doing. I will probably choose roles with some care henceforth."

Ajay Devgn in Lawrence's Kanchana Hindi remake

Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana, which enjoyed a successful run in Tamil and Telugu as well, is heading to Bollywood. There were rumours that SRK will do the film but they were put to rest even before they went around. Another rumour was that Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt were interested in the remake and are keen to act in it but even that didn’t materialize.

 

Finally, the news is that Ajay Devgan will be doing the Hindi remake of Kanchana while Tusshar Kapoor will be producing it. Ajay has a good good track record with remakes and especially after the success of Singham, he has shown more interest towards southern remakes.

 

The project is slated to go on floors next year and Lawrence will direct the remake as well. The rest of the cast including the hunt for the leading lady in underway.

Will 'Yevadu' Arrive For Pongal...?

Dil Raju will be the one person who would be keeping his fingers crossed over the political developments in the state of Andhra Pradesh, especially the state bifurcation issue. He has been waiting for the right date to release his long pending Ram Charan Tej starrer 'Yevadu' on a relatively peaceful day. But seems like his woes are not over yet.

Over the past six months, 'Yevadu' has been postponed constantly, thanks to the political turmoil and the union minister, mega star and Charan's father Chiranjeevi's ambiguous stance on the state bifurcation issue. The Samaikyandhra activists targeted Chiranjeevi's family movies, with a special focus on Charan. His 'Toofan' was hit badly and a bewildered Dil Raju kept on postponing the release of his own film with the Mega Power Star.

The last time Dil Raju announced a date was for Pongal '14 but the question is, will he be able to release it. With the President of India Pranab Mukherjee sending the bill back to the home ministry, asking the state legislature a time of six weeks i.e., till the 23rd January 2013 to review and send its report, the situation has once again fallen back in a stalemate, thus pushing the producer into rethinking about his Pongal release.
